Portfolio
Hello and welcome! My name is Louise and this is my online portfolio. You can read more about me here and about my games here. This website is constantly changing and updated, so be sure to come back soon!
A low poly character I made as a personal project.
Breakdown and concept.
I have always been a huge fan of Poision Ivy and wanted to do something related to her. She has been interpreted in many ways before (by me as well), so I wanted to do something unusual. In her early years her name was Pamela Lillian Isley. Even though there are many differing stories about her past, most agree that “Pamela Isley grows up wealthy with emotionally distant parents. She later studies advanced botanical biochemistry at a university with Alec Holland under Dr. Jason Woodrue. Isley, a timid, shy girl, is easily seduced by her professor.” Quote from Wikipedia.
I wanted to portray the girl with a nerdy but posh outside, and a personality of hidden, mixed feelings.
As this was a project close to my heart I tried not to rush it. I’d like to give the spec map another go, and maybe go another round in Zbrush. But over all I am happy.

A utah raptor I made as a personal project. Mostly my own design.
Breakdown of the raptor.
Had really fun while working on this. If I had more time with it, I’d put some more love into the textures and maybe try to cut some triangles. I made it with a budget of 10k, so I already kept it low, but I could definitely go lower without losing much detail. And I’d probably redo the presentation images as well.

A truck I made for our latest game, a first person shooter called “Cold Fusion”
Details of the truck.
This was really one of the first big hard surface things I modeled and I ran into countless problem. One of the weirdest was when polygons would disappear in front of my eyes, to never appear again. I’ve never even heard of someone else having the same issues. I managed to solve mostly everything, but some things (including the UV mapping) is something I’d consider redoing if I had more time with it. The tri count could be lower, too, even if I did a fair amount of work to reduce the number. The bottom polygons are deleted and the spare tire on the side is only half.
A collection of some of the things I did for our Real Time Strategy game!
Close up on the scout character. I did the concept, model and texture. I really like the concept so I might make a more hi res version someday.
Close up on the knight character. I did the concept, model and texture.
